The First Stone
This page should be considered, like the novel to which it refers, a work in progress. I plan to include a synopsis, character descriptions, some samples and, later this year, the final cover artwork.

The roots of this novel stretch way, way back (or maybe that should be down) to my days in a creative writing class taught by Claudia Gould. In response to a class assignment, I created a character by the name of Kirsty Moran. She was, in the earlier versions, the protagonist. In The First Stone she is a supporting character but a crucial one.
History:
I completed at least two drafts prior to 1989 and then wrote numerous incomplete drafts, each telling a slightly different story, each with a different title, until the mid 1990s when I switched to writing science-fantasy.
